<p>Mac OS X 10.3 or better, iChat AV 2.0 (included with Mac OS 10.3), an iChat account (free AOL Instant Messenger account or paid .Mac account), an Internet connection of 56 Kbps or faster recommended.</p>

<h1> How To Use iModz </h1>
<p> To use iModz, open the folder where you have intalled it, select the iModz icon then double-click it. iModz should now start.</p>
<p> Once iModz is open, you can select a number of different actions to make it work for you and start instant online fun.</p>
<h1>Custom Messages</h1>
<p> If the "Activate Messages List" check-box in Preferences panel is enabled, this will switch messages from the messages list in the time interval set by the seconds indicator in the main window. Otherwise it will display the message set in the Message field on the main window.</p>
<h1>iTunes</h1>
<p>Displays iTunes current playing track information, the order of that information can be set on the Preferences panel too</p>
<h1>Safari</h1>
<p>Displays the title of the website currently being viewed on the main (first) Safari window</p>
<h1>Mail</h1>
<p>Displays the number of new (unread) messages in Mail, in the format "I have [X] new mail messages"</p>
<h1>iChat</h1>
<p>This mode works in three different ways: 1) If chatting with a friend, displays "I'm chatting with [buddy name]"; 2) If chatting with many friends in a chat room, displays "In a Chat Room with [buddy who created room or who invited you]"; 3) If browsing the iChat Buddy list, displays "Looking for a friend"</p>
<h1>Date & Time</h1>
<p>Displays current date and time as received from the Finder (if somehow Finder is not running, this will not work)</p>
<h1>UpTime</h1>
<p>Displays the amount of time the computer has been on (and Mac OS X running), number of users activated and number of threads</p>

<h1> > How does it work </h1>
<h1>Communication<h1>
<p>iModz uses Cocoa and AppleScript to communicate with many applications and make information available into iChat</p>
<p>Please make sure a certain application is open before trying to get its information from iModz. If, for example, you set iModz to the iTunes mode and nothing happens, that is most probably because iTunes is not open. Also, if you close an application while iModz is trying to get information, it will not open it. Please note that, if the time interval is too small (1.0 second for example), iModz might send a message to the target application if it was just terminated and it will therefore open again.</p>
<p> If no problems happen, iModz, after realising the target application is not running anymore, will Deactivate itself, its timer, and set the iChat Status message to "Available" again.<p>
